Decision Ratification Assembly of the 7th Annual General Meeting of Madhya Nepal SACOS Successfully Concluded
The Decision Ratification Assembly of the 7th Annual General Meeting of Madhya Nepal Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. was successfully conducted at the hall of Devchuli Party Palace, Daldale, with the participation of representatives selected from the Unit-Level General Meetings.
As the supreme body of the cooperative, the General Assembly provided members with information regarding the institution’s policies, plans, progress, and future direction, while further strengthening participatory decision-making within the institution.
The assembly was chaired by Mr. Tulmani Poudel, Chairperson of Madhya Nepal Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., and the program was facilitated by Mr. Dilram Pandey, Secretary of the institution.
The assembly was formally inaugurated through the joint lighting of the traditional lamp (Panas) by Mr. Keshab Raj Aryal, Senior Share Member; Mr. Tulmani Poudel, Chairperson; and Mr. Homnath Jaishi, Board Member of the National Cooperative Federation Ltd.
During the program, Mrs. Prema Kumari Khanal, Vice-Chairperson, delivered the welcome address. Mr. Homnath Jaishi, Board Member of the National Cooperative Federation Ltd.; Mr. Man Singh Khatri, Advisor; and Mr. Krishna Prasad Gautam, Advisor, expressed their best wishes on the occasion of the 7th Annual General Meeting. They highlighted the significant role of shareholders in the strengthening and institutional development of the cooperative and extended their best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the institution.
The Annual Progress Report of the institution was presented by Mr. Tulmani Poudel, Chairperson. Likewise, Mr. Surendra Rijal, Coordinator of the Audit Supervision Committee, presented the report of the Audit Supervision Committee. The reports presented before the assembly, along with other proposals, were presented by Mr. Narbhupal Bhusal, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the institution.
The General Assembly, being the supreme body of the cooperative, has played an important role in maintaining good governance, transparency, and accountability within the institution. The assembly also reinforced the importance of collective participation and responsible decision-making for the sustainable development of the cooperative.
At the conclusion of the program, the Chairperson expressed sincere gratitude to the Service Center Management Sub-Committees, various thematic sub-committees, and all shareholders for their valuable support and cooperation in making the 7th Annual General Meeting successful. The assembly was formally concluded by the Chairperson.
